When crossing the Slovenian-Croatian border, the picturesque village of Dragonja greets you with vineyards, oil plantations and cultivated areas.
Not far from the main roads stands the Mahnič Farm, which supports you in its embrace with crops, and Grandma Guido, Grandma Franka and Adriana watch over the whole year. From the terrace of their farm inn, individuals and organized groups, who feel very at home here, have a unique view of the salt pans, the sea and the nearby Kaštel. With a great drop served by Ingrid and exceptional home-made food from the hands of none other Franka and Adrijana, they wish you never to end the day.
The Mahnič farm is spread over 15 hectares of land, shared by olive groves, orchards, vegetable gardens and, of course, vineyards. The fifth wine queen of Slovenian Istria Kim Mahnič. It proudly presents ten varieties that enrich their vineyards – Malvasia, Refošk, White and Black Borgonja, Bianchera, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Yellow Muscat, Momjan Muscat and Cypress.
